I'm faced with a tedious problem:
My project is on version 2020.1.4, but to my unfortunate, when I booted the project today it was filled with 36 errors from corrupted artifacts and UI related stuff (my UI had a giant cross over it) and I can't even press the play button because of these errors. Many errors were also from the Editor's folder.
Since most of these errors came from the Editor's folder and since there's no full version released after this one, I tried to uninstall and reinstall it. I pressed the uninstall and a message showed up stating that it was fully uninstalled from the pc. Then, in the HUB I tried to re-add the version, after a while it said that it failed to delete the files from that same version, and that it was either running or still there. So I checked the Unity folder and there it was, a folder for version 2020.1.4. It is no longer in the HUB, so I had to try to uninstall it again via the folder's uninstall.exe. I did it, same thing: "Successfuly uninstalled" but it's still there. I tried again to reinstall it and the problem persists.
I've rebooted my computer over and over. I've upgraded the HUB. I've tried to manually delete the folder and nothing works. The folder cannot vanish for me to reinstall it.
Any help will be appreciated.
